Payment questions
Will applying affect my credit score?
Cherry uses a soft credit check for its application and does not perform a hard credit check. Once a plan is confirmed, Cherry reports account activity to credit bureaus; missed payments may hurt your credit. CareCredit’s online prequalification does not affect your score, but completing the credit-card application triggers a hard inquiry that may affect it.
How quickly can I get a decision?
Both providers offer an online process designed for quick decisions. Follow the provider’s application prompts for your result. Approval and timing are not guaranteed.
Is financing always interest-free?
Rates and promotions depend on eligibility and the offer you receive. With a CareCredit deferred-interest promotion, the promotional balance must be paid in full by the deadline to avoid interest from the purchase date. Minimum payments may not pay it off in time. Review the provider’s current terms before accepting.
When will I know my payment schedule?
Cherry shows your payment plan details during checkout so you can review them before accepting. CareCredit payments follow your billing statement and account terms. Check the exact dates and costs directly with the provider.
