Controlled cooling for selected localized fat bulges. Learn about gradual changes, device-specific suitability and risks, including paradoxical fat growth.
How fat freezing works
Cryolipolysis uses controlled cooling to damage selected fat cells beneath the skin. The body clears the affected cells gradually, and visible changes may develop over two to three months. It addresses localized bulges rather than obesity or weight loss; results vary.
Suitability and the treatment plan
A clinician should assess the treatment area, medical history and exact device. Cold-sensitivity conditions, poor circulation and a hernia in or near the area can make treatment unsuitable. Device authorization is specific to the device and treatment area.
Recovery and risks
Redness, swelling, bruising, discomfort and prolonged numbness can occur. Less common complications include cold burns. Paradoxical adipose hyperplasia means the treated fat grows instead of shrinking; it does not resolve on its own and may require surgery.
Your consultation
An individual medical assessment should cover your goals, health history, medicines, allergies, previous procedures and the exact product or device proposed. Ask about realistic outcomes, alternatives, recovery, possible complications and follow-up before deciding.
Listed prices and appointment durations refer to the catalog service. They are not a consultation fee or a confirmed treatment plan. Confirm the exact proposed procedure, inclusions and total cost with the clinic.
