PRP under-eye treatment uses platelet-rich plasma prepared from your own blood. A consultation helps determine whether it is appropriate for the specific cause of your under-eye concern.
What this treatment involves
After assessment and consent, a blood sample is collected and processed before treatment of the planned area. This is liquid PRP, a different preparation from PRF EZ Gel and a different treatment from hyaluronic-acid tear-trough filler.
What to discuss at consultation
Dark circles, hollowing, puffiness and fine lines are not the same problem. Your provider should explain the likely cause of your concern, whether PRP is reasonable, and what alternatives may be more suitable. Improvement is not guaranteed, and a fixed number of sessions should not be assumed before assessment.
Price and options

Risks and recovery
Expect discussion of bruising, tenderness, swelling, bleeding and infection. Rare but serious vascular complications, including permanent vision loss, have been reported after facial PRP injections. Your own blood does not eliminate injection risk. Vision changes, severe unusual pain or changes in skin color after an injection need urgent medical attention.
Share medicines, supplements, bleeding or platelet problems, active illness, skin infection and pregnancy or breastfeeding with the provider. Do not stop prescribed medicines without medical advice. Follow the aftercare you are given, and contact the clinic about symptoms that worsen rather than settle.
